Reddot ready to kick on for title

Sunday League sides all set to begin second half of their campaigns after break

TROPHY-chasing teams in the Camden Sunday League will be making their final push for silverware when they return to action this weekend at Hackney Marshes.
Champions Reddot are on course to retain the Division One title having opened up an 11-point lead at the top of the table. The Dots have dropped just two points so far this season after netting six wins and a draw from their opening seven games.
In Division Two, star striker James Lindsay has been in outstanding form for Sir Robert Peel, who go into the second half of the season eight points clear of their rivals. But Field Crusaders will leapfrog Peel by a single point if they win their games in hand.
The Division Three championship is turning into the battle of the newcomers with Lord Tredegar and Packenham taking the league by storm. Tredegar are currently top with 30 points, but Packenham, who are the only side in the entire league still boasting a 100 per cent record, will move three points clear if they win their games in hand.
Division One sides Phoenix and CS Maritimo have already tasted success this season. Phoenix lifted the Bill Price Memorial Trophy with a 4-1 win over Dinamo Dorigo thanks to a double strike from Ricky Lucas and goals from Aaron Clarke and James Cole.
CS Maritimo also added to their trophy cabinet after winning the President’s Cup with a 2-0 victory over Archway Allstars.
Our prestigious Challenge Cup has been whittled down to the final four, with holders Reddot set to face Cobden Athletic and Constitution taking on the Packenham on
January 18.
