Eagles soaring: Shane and Jonny provide a perfect send-off for team-mate

HAMPSTEAD heroes Jonny Novak, Shane Farrell, George Karageorgis and Darnell Luke (pictured from left) were all on target as the Eagles soared to another impressive win in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League.
The under-8s side, which was only put together in August, turned on the style against Hill United, with six-year-olds Farrell and Novak both netting hat-tricks.
Player-of-the-match Karageorgis and Luke were also on target as Hampstead Eagles ran out 8-0 winners.
There was also a special mention for Charlie Sears, who played his last ever competitive match for the club before returning home to America.
As a final farewell, Hampstead have arranged a friendly against Charlie’s Team USA, at the Talacre Sports Centre in Kentish Town this Saturday.
