Pupils in the Rosary RC Primary School’s Nativity line-up
Shepherds, donkeys, oh, and penguins too

PRIMARY schools across the borough have been turned into theatres with Christmas and Nativity shows this week.
Proud parents have seen their little ones dressed up as anything from shepherds to donkeys to penguins.
Among the best shows were those at Rosary school in Belsize Park, Fleet school in Hampstead, and Richard Cobden, Brecknock and Holy Trinity and St Silas schools in Camden Town.
Rosary head Isobel Gaffney said: “Christmas is done in a big way here.” She hopes the Christmas spirit will extend into the New Year as the school embarks on a fund-raising drive to deal with damage caused by a fire at the school in July. “The plans for the replacement buildings are ready to go – but we need to raise £200,000 to get it done,” Ms Gaffney said.
