Let’s raise a glass to Barry Sullivan’s memory
• TO all Friends of Barry Sullivan.
I wish to thank everyone who has continued to support and send their good wishes to Camden Town Neighbourhood Advice Centre and to all of Barry’s friends and neighbours who continue to send their condolences and share memories both happy and sad of our own local hero and man of the people.
Just last year when maybe he somehow knew, but we did not, that it would be his last Christmas he dressed up as Santa to deliver the usual hampers and put a large inflatable Santa outside his flat despite being already in a lot of pain and discomfort and feeling down in the dumps himself.
We thought it a good opportunity to get everyone together for a “Toast to Barry” at The Cobden Arms on Saturday December 13 from 5pm onwards after Barry’s Christmas Sale at Godwin and Crowndale 1pm- 4pm.
Barry continues to be in our thoughts and we would like to celebrate our friendship with him so look in the raised area for us all. Let’s raise a glass to Barry and say as he did when raising a glass at any time of the year. “Merry Christmas” All Welcome.
