Calling all private tenants to join our campaign
• MANY of your readers who are private renters in Camden, will probably be unaware that the Centre for Housing Policy at the University of York has just completed a major review of the private rented sector on behalf of the government.
The Rugg Review, as it is commonly known, has produced a wide-ranging report and it and a summary can be viewed by going to: www.york.ac.uk/inst/chp/ Projects/PRSreview.htm
In response to this and other recent developments in the housing world, the Camden Federation of Private Tenants is forming a campaign action group.
So if you are a private tenant in the borough and would like to help us campaign for better protection, rights and services, please get in touch.
Also to ensure that we are representing all of Camden’s different communities, we need more people to join our friendly and lively management committee.
No previous experience or specialist knowledge is required, and free training can be provided if needed.
