ARSENAL Ladies made it 10 wins out of 10 on Sunday with a hard-fought victory.
It took 52 minutes before the deadlock was finally broken when Kelly Smith cut in from the right and unleashed an unstoppable shot past
goalkeeper Nicky Davies.
Sub Rachel Yankey made the points save shortly after the hour mark with a fierce strike from just outside the box.

FA Cup: Second Round
Spurs 1, Northampton Town 4

SPURS’ Cup run came to a disappointing end on Sunday when Town ran out comfortable winners at Broxbourne.
The visitors took an early lead but Tottenham quickly hit back to level the scores thanks to a neat finish from Kirsten Thomson. But Town hit three more goals to book a place in the third round.

Greater London League

THE two title rivals remain joint top after they battled out a goalless draw on Sunday.
Spurs dominated the play but failed to find a way past Maggie Murphy, who put in a heroic display at the heart of Camden’s defence. Town could have won it late on, only for Carmel Clinton to be denied by a last-ditch challenge.

Home Counties League

TWO goals from star striker Shauna Lawless saw Hampstead net their fourth win this season on Sunday with a 2-0 victory over St Albans
City.
