We know that nine out of 10 people support organ donation but only one in four has joined the NHS Organ Donor Register.
Meanwhile around 400 people die each year waiting for a transplant.

The government has now decided against having an automatic opt-in to organ donation. What everyone agrees is that we desperately need more organs for transplant.
