Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 06 November 2008

Socialise in cafés, study in libraries

• CAMDEN libraries should not become “solemn places with a formidable staff” but neither become “real-life versions of the internet youth craze…” (First libraries end silence, now they woo Facebook generation, October 30).
People can meet and socialise in the innumerable cafés in Camden.
Local libraries are for borrowing the latest books and for reference and study purposes in comparative silence.
