Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 06 November 2008

All God’s creatures

• I WOULD like to respond to those anti-squirrel people’s letters (Let’s get rid of this menace to native birds and trees, October 30).
We are all here on this Earth for a reason, whatever that may be, including animals. We are all God’s creatures.
I find squirrels delightful and they bring joy to young and old. Try feeding them with nuts, chocolate, fruit, biscuits and bread if you are so concerned about our beautiful trees.
You may find in sharing food with God’s creatures, they may become your friends.
I would like proof of the allegations that squirrels are responsible for the loss of native birds.
