Camden New Journal - Letters to the Editor
Published: 23 October 2008

UCL’s academy altruism

I HAVE been following the ongoing debate concerning University College London’s proposal to sponsor an academy.
This will surely give a great opportunity to many children from all parts of Camden.
However, the New Journal’s continuing coverage indicates that the public consultation meetings seem to get packed with people with political agendas, not with the parents of children who stand to benefit from UCL’s vision. The debate surely should be about how Camden can take best advantage of UCL’s altruistic intentions.
