Gunners face historic replay

Uefa Cup
Lyon 3, Arsenal 0

ARSENAL Ladies will again face Swedish champions Umea IK in the UEFA Cup after suffering a 3-0 defeat against Olympique Lyonnais at Stade de Gerland on Tuesday.
The Gunners went into their group match against Lyon having already qualified for the knockout stages after beating Austrian champions Neulengbach 6-0, and Swiss champions FC Zurich Frauen 7-2.
The result means Arsenal will play Umea IK, who they famously beat in 2007 to become the first English club to win the UEFA Cup. The quarter-final first leg tie is on November 6.

Greater London League
Division Two North
Katabella 5, Joybabe, 1

THE Kats finally recorded their first win of the season on Sunday with a comprehensive victory over Joybabe.
After a slightly nervy start, Katabella took the lead thanks to a well-taken goal from Jen Coupland.
Joybabe soon equalised, but a stunning hat-trick from Chelsea Berlin saw the Camden-based Kats hit back to record their first win in five games.
There was still time for Coupland to finish off what she started with her second of the game, adding the finishing touches to an impressive 5-1 win.

Home Counties League

TWO goals from Lois Joel led Hampstead to a convincing victory over Tottenham on Sunday in the Under-10s League.
A strike from Kayleigh Brennan and Phoebe Selby’s first-ever goal for the club completed a 4-0 win over the north Londoners.
Elsewhere goals from Lillie Best and Cerena Bahavani saw Hampstead’s Under-12s earn a 2-2 draw against St Martins.
