Camden New Journal - Letters to the Editor
Published: 2 October 2008

No-go?

• CAMDEN Council are at it again.
They are trying to turn the public gallery in the Town Hall into a no-go area. They want to silence the views of residents and it appears to me that Keith Moffitt, leader of the Lib Dems, thinks he can stop freedom of speech. He is making a big mistake. I have been going to council meetings since before he was born.
I was really shocked at the way I was bullied at the full council meeting on September 8. But it’s not just about me, an 86-year-old woman, it’s about the ordinary voters in Camden today. Is something really worrying them that we don’t know about?
