Camden New Journal - Letters to the Editor
Published: 2 October 2008

Woe on 31

• ON September 23 at about 12.25am I was on the 31 bus going from Chalk Farm to Swiss Cottage.
I got on the bus and the driver pulled away very severely. I nearly fell over but I caught hold of the rail just in time.
Two stops later an elderly gentleman got on the bus. He was just about to sit down when the bus pulled away. He fell backwards on to the floor. I helped him into the seat and he was very shaken up. He said to the driver “Why don’t you give us enough time to take a seat?” But he did not answer.
I am appalled how the public are treated on the 31.
