NEWCOMERS Sir Robert Peel are the early pacesetters in Division Two of the Camden Sunday League after they beat AFC Shooters 3-0 at Regent’s Park.
Star striker Karl Aldridge, who scored a hat-trick against MDM on the opening day of the season, again found the back of the net to break the deadlock.
Skipper Charlie Kanaris and Elvyn Blackwood were also on target as Peel ran out 3-0 winners to open up an early two-point lead at the top of the table.
Dinamo Dorigo are second despite being held to a 1-1 draw against MDM.
Will Evans fired Dinamo ahead early on when he converted Steve Irvine’s inch-perfect cross. But Dorigo were pegged back when Nasif Ergene confidently tucked away a penalty following Mike Shaw’s goal line handball, which earnt him a red card.
The only other Division Two game saw the Mayville ‘A’ team beat newcomers Boston Arms 4-1.
In Division Three, Lord Tredegar are top after they hit nine goals for a second successive time to beat Tevekkeli 9-2.
Elsewhere Packenham beat Surreal Madrid 4-0, Enate United overcame Crouch End Rangers by a single goal, and the Mayville ‘B’ team ran out 8-2 winners against FC Bertoli.

Goals from Neil Bralee, Aaron Clarke and James Cole saw Division One side Phoenix book their place in the second round of the London Cup with a thrilling 3-2 victory against South London opponents, Cosmos 90.
