Firefighters join young luvvies in bid to make it to The Tricycle

SOMETHING undeniably theatrical was afoot in Lismore Circus, Gospel Oak, last Saturday – painted children acted as fairies and tigers, or pretended to be firefighters.
The dramatic celebrations at the Gospel Oak Children’s Centre were aimed at raising enough money to give the area’s youngsters a special day-out to professional theatre, The Tricycle in West Hampstead.
Kentish Town fire brigade gave children a demonstration of siren-wailing and water-hosing while others enjoyed the food and games stalls.
