Camden New Journal - Letters to the Editor
Published: 18 September 2008

Doc’s gone, ban stays

• TWENTY months after a doctor left Cliff Road, Camden Town, the council has not removed the parking bay sign and keeps repainting “Doctor only” on the road. Why?
I recently received a parking ticket, but on appeal (because there is not a doctor’s surgery there) I was let off.
Then last Monday, my car was towed to Kentish Town pound where it cost me £260 to get it back. I have invoiced the council for a half day’s lost wages.
When is this inept council going to rectify this, and to unblock the drain at the Camden Park Road end?
Every time we get rain, everyone has to walk in the road because the path is like a pond.
GARY SWANN
