Tram link in question

PLANS to build a tram linking Camden Town and Brixton may have hit the buffers after a City Hall summit concluded there was no funding for the project.
Councillors and business leaders went to the South Bank to put both sides of the case on Tuesday as the Greater London Assembly considered the Cross River Tram project. But campaigners, who say the tram will be a hazard in Somers Town’s narrow streets, left the happier after GLA transport chief Val Shawcross said she was “pessimistic” about funding prospects..
