Oh, I say what a slip

• THE article on Leslie Phillips had two glaring errors (Ping pong? Ding dong, August 14). Leslie is 84 and not 88; he was born on April 20, 1924. Additional to the OBE, he was awarded the CBE by the Queen at Buckingham Palace on July 7 this year.
