Naturists smeared
• ON the facts described, Soho Beach was not a naturist club. It was smearing our good name and we welcome the council closing it down (Clothing time at the naked drinkers’ club, August 14).
However, it seems that Councillor Dawn Somper thinks that naturism is sufficient reason to close it down. That is an unacceptable prejudice against a perfectly reputable minority group. We have contacted Camden Council to verify the facts and, depending on the reply, we will be making a complaint.
