• IT is a pity John Gulliver didn’t check with Camden Council before writing about councillor nominations to Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust’s board of governors (Call for councillor volunteers unheeded, August 14).
It was agreed some time ago that I would become a governor when I cease to be a non-executive director of the trust at the end of this month. I understand the Labour group has also nominated a governor. I hope my experience as a non-executive director will allow me to make a useful contribution to the board.
