Marjahan’s Final-over heroics seal victory for netley primary

MIGHTY Marjahan Abedin put in a titanic last-gasp knock to help lead youngsters from Netley Primary School to victory in the Camden Schools Sports Association Cricket Championships at Regent’s Park.
The talented 11-year-old hit three sixes in the last over to give the school, which is based in William Road in Euston, a winning score of 225 runs, topping rivals New End Primary School who scored 207 off their opening 10 overs. Gospel Oak finished third after beating Brookfield Primary School by just a single run in the play-offs.
