Dashing young blades: the boys of Hampstead School Year 7
Pupils star in first nationals

YOUNGSTERS also turned out in force for the first-ever National Schools Sports Week. Pupils across the borough took part in sports days, special assemblies, and dozens of competitions, including mini-tennis, rounders and cricket.

Among the big winners were the girls from La Sainte Union in Highgate, who won the Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 and 11 Rounders Championships.
Organised by the Camden School Sports Federation, neighbours Parliament Hill School added their name to the honours list after winning the Year 7 competition.
There was also success for Hampstead School, who were crowned the Year 7, Year 8 and Year 10 and 11 cricket champions.
