Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 3 July 2008

Collision?

• I WAS sorry to read the report of the collision on Wednesday involving a cyclist and a lorry (Woman cyclist seriously injured in lorry crash, June 26).
I note the statements by your reporter that: “A cyclist was rushed to hospital… after colliding with a lorry” and that: “The woman in her 40s hit a timber lorry in Royal College Street, Camden Town.”
Is this correct?
If so, it would be very unusual – it would be much more likely for a motor vehicle to collide with a cyclist.
I would welcome your comments on the accuracy of these statements. My thoughts go to the cyclist and her family.
