Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 26 June 2008

Sick system

• I CAN only assume that people who don’t want the new polyclinics never go to see a GP.
Unfortunately some of us need to go regularly, and come up against the appalling appointments system every time. Why haven’t GPs done something about it?
I complained to a GP last year and he said he couldn’t get through either. James Collins (No need to shed tears, June 19) is right, we’re made to scramble for appointments which is very insulting. He’s right again when he says that anything must be better than this disrespectful way of treating patients.
