Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 5 June 2008

Minigolf enthusiasts say yes to any new course

• I READ with interest the letter from CM Wildey regarding his idea of changing the petanque pitch at Parliament Hill into a crazy golf course (Crazy idea? May 29).
As a member of the British Minigolf Association (BMGA) and a Great Britain International Minigolfer I am behind any efforts to build new courses where the public and fellow competitive Crazy Golfers can practise and play the rapidly developing sport.
My wife (the world’s sixth-best female crazy golfer) works in Kentish Town and I am a regular visitor to London, but at present there is a dearth of courses in the city. (Camden is home to a “residents only” course on the Clarence Way estate, but apart from that courses are few and far between). I am also sure that the growing London Minigolf Club would welcome new courses to play on and it would be great if the city could hold the London Crazy Golf Open in the future.
