Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 29 May 2008

Speaking of racism and ‘war on terror’

• IT is disingenuous of Dorothy Steele to use New Labour’s warmongering as justification for voting for the BNP (Extremists, May 15).
The BNP is a party that denies the Holocaust.
Over the last five years, many thousands of people have been angered by Labour’s pro-war policies, but fortunately most of us have look to the anti-war movement for a solution, rather than the despairing politics of the BNP.
Rather than joining in with the scapegoating, anti-war organisations like the Stop the War Coalition are holding a meeting on Racism, the War on Terror and the Muslim Community, on Tuesday June 3 at 7pm in the Bishopsgate Institute, at 230 Bishopsgate, near Liverpool Street station.
The speakers will include Moazzam Begg, George Galloway MP, Lindsey German and David Edgar.
