Alan’s still the king of the ring

SAINTS’ show-stopper Alan Higgins continued to reign in the ring on Friday when he stepped between the ropes at Dagenham Boy’s Club.
The St Pancras amateur star, who lives in Kentish Town, showed great hand speed and foot work as he out-pointed Gareth Thomas of the Peacock Boxing Club.
As an added reward for his efforts, the light-heavy-weight also collected the Best Boxer of the Night accolade as he continued his push towards the professional ranks.
