Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 15 May 2008

Thanks for good sounds, food, wine and company

• FOR those of you who missed it, Pam Gilby and the South End Green Association arranged a high quality choral concert with Ivor Setterfield and the New London Singers at All Hallows, Savernake Road.
The concert was weeks in planning, finding sponsors and arranging the evening. This was a real community effort with the proceeds going to our local Marie Curie Hospice.
The sponsors were the Camden New Journal, Camden Council, Amberden Estates, Euphorium Bakery (who provided both a cash donation and some of the best pastries and sandwiches I have eaten for some while); Sopexa Wines provided top quality wines, and savouries were given by the Fresh Olive Company.
To sum up the evening, I would like to quote from an email I have received:
“Good sounds, good food, good wine, good company.”
Well done Pam and South End Green Association for a memorable evening and thanks to all the sponsors who gave their generous support.
Cllr Chris Knight
Conservative, Hampstead Town ward
