Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 1 May 2008

Stakes are sky high

• I noticed, not for the first time, this last Saturday the shocking sight of a noisy helicopter drifting around aimlessly over Westminster and Camden on a bright sunny day when tourists and residents alike took to our parks.
I can’t think of a more symbolic example of “fiddling while the planet burns” that a helicopter trailing an advertisement for online gambling.
How can we Londoners tolerate such offensive, conspicuous pollution for such a sponsor flaunted above our great city?
Cllr Paul Braithwaite
Lib Dem, Cantelowes ward
