Tufnell’s final tune-up

FOOTBALLERS from newly formed side Tufnell Park Rangers will be hoping they can end their first season in a blaze of glory on Sunday when they take on the Groucho Club in the final of the Musical Associations Cup.
Having recorded eight wins and a draw in their last nine games, leading scorer Nathan Reid and strike partner Israa Sigola will be looking to extend Tufnell’s unbeaten run and lead the team to a major trophy in their debut season in the league.
As an added bonus, club sponsors the Pineapple pub in Kentish Town have paid for a coach to take the players to the game, which will be held at Kingsbury Town Football Club.
Anyone interested in going along to support Rangers should pop into the Pineapple in Leverton Street for details. Kick-off is 3pm and tickets cost £5 and include return travel to the game and a buffet in the pub after the match.
