Actor opens playground

CHILDREN at Eleanor Palmer School got their first taste of a slide, climbing frame and
sand pit at the grand opening of a new playground on Tuesday. Actor Andrew Lincoln, 34, from Kentish Town, who played Egg in cult TV series This Life as well as acting in Teachers, cut the ribbon. Mr Lincoln (pictured on page 1 with pupils from Eleanor Palmer School) said: “I love it. I’ve jogged and walked past the school so many times but you don’t realise how big it is. It’s a haven.”
