Raid leads to terror charge

A HIGHGATE man has been charged with terrorism offences. Qasim Abukar, 20, was arrested at Heathrow on Tuesday after his Dartmouth Park Hill home was searched under warrant on Sunday. He was charged on Tuesday under the Terrorism Act with preparing to commit acts of terrorism between March 17 and April 18 2008. Two other addresses in Islington were searched, and a second man was also charged.
