Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 10 April 2008

Police noise too much

• WHY do we have to listen to so many police cars with sirens roaming our streets, especially on a Sunday morning?
This is not a one-off occurrence.
On Saturday I heard 11 sirens. If there is a traffic jam they seem to use them to get through fast. But that’s in the day time. At 2am where is the traffic?
Not only does it disturb my sleep, at 82 years of age, but also young people with kids.
All I can say to these so-called guardians of the law is – you will be old one day.
