Huggy Bear joins forces with Blitz ahead of the big kick-off

THE KING of cool Huggy Bear swapped his purple velour for the navy blue of the London Blitz.
Huggy, (actor Antonio Fargas) – who was famed for his role in the 1970s cops TV series Starsky and Hutch – added his support to the Finsbury Park-based club ahead of next month’s big kick-off in the Premier Division of the British American Football League.
And he was more than happy to be crowned ‘Huggy Blitz’ as he lined-up alongside the National Champions of American football.
Helping to launch the new TV channel BingoLotto, Huggy was already a huge fan of America’s grid-iron game, with his son Justin starring as running-back for the Oakland Raiders.
The London Blitz will open their season with a cross-town derby against the London Olympians at Crystal Palace on April 27.
