Open letter to Councillor Chris Naylor, executive member for housing
• IN view of the commitment of the Mayor of London (‘I’ll repair homes’, says mayor Ken, March 20) to:
l seize control of the housing budget;
l swiftly to unlock any monies held by the government in order to hand part of the £4 billion to Camden Council to carry out essential repairs to council properties; and
l to stop you and your colleagues from selling off properties to pay for the repairs...
Can you, Cllr Naylor, now be up-front and state publicly that Camden will now apply for funding to Ken Livingstone? Can we have that in writing and a commitment as to when you will apply for the said funding to Ken Livingstone?
We deserve to know…
