Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 27 March 2008

Welcome back to saint

• IT was bad to see a couple of years ago that the beautiful plaque of St Pancras and his wolf had disappeared from the corner of Park Village East and Albany Street.
I expect many people shared my reaction ‘what will go next? Maybe the even more beautiful statue across the road’.
Now suddenly it’s back! Either the police caught the thief, or someone in the council had the foresight to take a cast and they were able to remake it.
Anyway, congratulations to all concerned! And welcome back, St Pancras.
