Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 27 March 2008

The key to who cares

• I AM a Careline user. I pay extra to have my door key at the office.
In the event of a doctor being called out, recently I had to call Careline for one.
When she came I had to get out of bed to let her in, and when I asked about the key she knew nothing about this.
I phoned Careline complaining that I had to get out of bed to open the door, then again to lock it.
I was told that I should have told the doctor, but how could I when I didn’t know who was coming? Supposing I was on the floor, what would I have done?
By the way, I am 90 years old, and don’t want to get out of bed when I pay for Careline to hand over the key,
