£5,000 reward for missing dogs

A HEART - BROKEN dog lover is offering a £5,000 reward for the safe return of his two dogs.
The Rottweiler duo, Roxy and Bullet, eloped out of 21-year-old Raffaele Pragliola’s bedroom window while he was cleaning his flat in Sherriff Road, West Hampstead.
Since their disappearance on Monday last week Mr Pragliola, who has housed numerous homeless dogs in the past, says he has contacted every veterinary surgery in the Yellow Pages as well as the Battersea Dogs Home, the RSPCA and The Mayhew Centre.
“They were perfect dogs in every sense,” said Mr Pragliola.
“Roxy was the softest dog ever and Bullet was a one-man dog – an extension of me. I don’t want to live without him and that’s from the bottom of my heart.”
Although Mr Pragliola did not see them escape he is certain the pair jumped out of the window some time between 3.30pm and 4pm.
Neither of the dogs is micro-chipped.
Mr Pragliola fears his pets may have fallen into the wrong hands.
He said: “There are the good people who like dogs and would give them to the authorities. There are the good people who don’t like dogs who would call the police, and then there are the bad people who would keep them, make as much money as they can out of them and then just flog them.”
Mr Pragliola, who inherited a sum of money after his grandfather died, guarantees anonymity to the person who hands over the dogs.
He added: “Finders keepers, losers weepers and I’m weeping so I’m prepared to pay to get them back. I’d even pay £10,000 if I had it.
“If you have my dogs just please at least give me Bullet back, then, maybe when you’ve bred Roxy, give her back.
