Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 28 February 2008

A waste of effort?

• I AM very confused about how Camden recycles.
I sort out paper, cardboard and bottles into my box which is collected every week.
I watched all the recycled bins in my road being empted into a dirty garbage truck, no sorting, bottles and paper all together.
Are we just doing lip-service to recycling? Where does the dirty garbage truck go?
My notion is that it goes into a container and is shipped off to China.
Can Camden Council tell me different?
O Jones
Mill Lane, NW6
