Phoenix keeper in cup stunner

HIGH-FLYING Phoenix booked their place in the final four of the London Junior Cup on Sunday with a nail-biting 2-1 victory over Pelo.
The depleted Camden Sunday League side took the lead midway through the first-half when John Paul Eyles curled the ball into the top corner from the edge of the area. Pelo battled back to score a deserved equaliser. But Phoenix sealed their place in the semi’s when Mark ‘Munchie’ Doyle netted a spectacular winner on the hour mark.
Phoenix goalkeeper Barry Breen capped a man of the match performance with a string of stunning stops, including a late penalty save.
