Arsene Wenger
Wenger ‘dreaming of title too!’

Gunners boss says fans are right to believe Arsenal can win the Premiership

ARSENE Wenger believes Gunners fans are rightly daring to dream they can win the Premiership this year.
The Arsenal boss was speaking after watching his young charges secure a five-point cushion over rivals Manchester United at the top of the table.
Following the 2-0 win over Blackburn on Monday, Wenger said: “We have had the belief from the first day.
“It is right that the fans believe we can do it.
“We have shown that we can handle the pressure when our backs are to the wall.
“But we are not fools. There are still 12 games to go and this race will be contested right up until the last minute.
“We must continue to play with humility and focus on playing our game.”
Striker Emmanuel Adebayor’s last-minute goal put him just one behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the race for the golden boot.
The clinical finish has put the record of Highbury hero Ian Wright – who scored in 11 consecutive games – under threat.
But Wenger said he was “not interested” in who scored more goals than who, paying tribute to the artistry of his midfielders for setting up the Togolese striker.
He said: “You have to consider our outstanding team work. It is no coincidence strikers at this club score so many goals. If you are a striker here, the team feeds you. And here, you get good food.”
He added: “I do not like my players to talk about goal-scoring records because they might not think about the team. I do not care if Adebayor scores 12 or none as long as the team wins.”
