Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 7 February 2008

Let down

• IT is quite clear from recent reports and letters the government and the previous council has failed Camden’s tenants.
The question in my mind, though, is what are the new administration going to do to try and improve estates such as Maiden Lane.
The government are clearly not going to provide the promised funding. How, therefore, is the funding problem going to be solved?
That question was partly answered on Friday when I received the council’s booklet Investing in Maiden Lane Estate. This sets out options to begin resolving the crisis. It is up to those concerned to apply their energies to agreeing a way forward.
Caroline Macdonald, NW1
