Pub snub

NOISE fears led council licensing chiefs to reject publican Paul Davies’s application to open his garden later and allow drinkers upstairs at the Pineapple, Leverton Street, Kentish Town. After Tuesday’s decision he said: “Some of my neighbours like the concept of having a lovely pub at the end of their road, but not the reality.”
