Knifeman stabbed drinkers

A ‘DANGEROUSLY disturbed’ killer who knifed two pub customers in their local without saying a word has been detained indefinitely.
Cecil Walcott, a chronic schizophrenic, was sentenced at the Old Bailey under the Mental Health Act.
Judge Richard Hone, QC, sent him to Broadmoor maximum security hospital where he will remain “without limit of time”.
The 52-year-old was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter, on the grounds of diminished responsibility of killing Gerry Fairall at the former Red Lion pub in Kilburn High Road in November 2006.
Walcott was also convicted of the attempted murder of another drinker.
