Sabre duo unstoppable

DELIGHTED duo Curtis Miller and Soji Aiyenuro struck gold at the weekend when they returned to action in the Bristol Leon Paul Junior Series Sabre.
Curtis, who lives in Holloway, and Soji, of Belsize Park, were both in unstoppable form as they dominated their respective Under-17s and Under-15s competitions. Teammate Fabio Artesi also reached the winners’ podium in the Under-15s category after finishing third.
The medal mania continued with Jack Horrix taking silver in the boys’ Under-13s category and Emma Horrix winning bronze in the girls’ Under-15s event.
In the British Youth Foil Championships, Ava Martinez-Lambert put in a powerful display to seal a sixth place finish in the Under-12s competition.
