Last-gasp Colossal go top

A LATE strike from Nicky Lee Paul (pictured) earned FC Colossal a thrilling 3-2 victory over Nice Fridge Lokomotiv on Sunday in Division One of the West End League.
The Camden-based side took an early lead when Sanders Omishobi added the finishing touches to a neat passing move when he unleashed a low shot into the bottom corner of the net.
Within minutes Colossal were two up when 17-year-old defender Jamie Gallagher capped a man-of-the-match performance with a stunning header. A resilient second-half performance saw Lokomotiv battle their way back into the game to pull the scores level at 2-2.
But in the final minutes of the match, Peter “Happy Feet” Parrott laid the ball off for Lee Paul to smash home the winner.
The result leaves Colossal three points clear at the top with a game in hand.
After the match, first-team coach Kevin Ryland said: “We are back on track and the way we played and battled shows we are not only a great
pass-and-move team but can also dig deep and fight for our points.”
