Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 24 January 2008

Late news

• Under your jesting heading (A blight Christmas, January 10) a letter from an unnamed resident – and it had to be one from Primrose Hill didn’t it – moaned that Camden’s recycling service on December 28 was two days late and and the one for January 4 was a further one day late. Gawd forbid!
As they say in France, pas grave. While most of the country took two weeks off work, Veolia continued to serve Camden quietly and well. We don’t know how lucky we are. Take a look at Naples just now. Veolia are performing a sterling service (even if they are French) and are unsung heroes. Keep up the good work.
Cllr Paul Braithwaite
Lib Dem, Cantelowes Ward
