Victim of gang attack improving

A 29-year-old man who spent Christmas on a ventilator after a gang attack on Finchley Road left him with life-threatening head injuries is showing signs of improvement.
The victim, from West Hampstead, was chased by between five and seven attackers from outside Finchley Road and Frognal railway station to Lymington Road and severely beaten on December 22.
Police said yesterday (Wednesday) his condition was “stable and improving” after a fortnight on life support.
No arrests have been made, but detectives are studying CCTV footage.
