Camden New Journal - Letters to the Editor
Published: 10 January 2008

Thanks for helping our poor dog

• WE just wanted to pass on our huge thanks to the staff of English Heritage at Kenwood, Beaumont Animal Hospital and all the other wonderful people who assisted our two children and dog at Kenwood on the morning of Friday, December 28.
Bobby, our lurcher, had tried to jump over five-foot iron railings in Kenwood, but got impaled on them.
Had it not been for our brave children’s quick response and the swift, immense and selfless kindness of others, Bobby would have died.
Suffering major injuries and a massive loss of blood, they were very quickly helped by passers-by and staff from Kenwood House who all rushed to the rescue. So far Bobby has made excellent progress and is back at home.
