Murder suspect to be assessed by psychiatrists

THE man suspected of ­turning a Camden Town flat into a bloodbath, in a horror knife attack on the couple who befriended him, is being assessed by a psychiatrists from Broadmoor.
He was due for his for Old Bailey appearance last month but the case was adjourned without him being present.
Former soldier Stuart Forsyth, 40, is being ­monitored under the Mental Health Act.
Mr Forsyth, arrested in ­Cornwall in August when he walked into a lpolice station, is charged with ­murdering his “super” foster mum, Miriam Baldock.
Mrs Baldock, 61, and her husband Maurice, 60, took him under their wing and looked after him when he was a teenage drifter.
The couple were attacked at their home in Linkwood Walk on the Maiden Lane estate on August 11.
Mrs Baldock, who worked for many years at Kentish Town Fire Station, had lived on the estate since 1982.
Mr Forsyth, an ex-Para, lodged with the couple.
In addition to the count alleging murder, he is accused of attempting to murder Mr Baldock.
The couple suffered ­horrendous knife wounds in the early-hours attack, and Mr Baldock managed to raise the alarm.
Prosecutor Michael Mulkerrins told Judge Peter Thornton, QC that he raised no objection to a request from `Mr Forsyth’s legal team for an adjournment.
Doctors will be preparing reports on him.
Mr Forsyth is due in court on January 25 when he is expected to be asked to enter pleas to the indictment.
